If you have properly studied the documents you know exactly what the pledge in the JCO says. Experience has shown, and one of the reasons for this course being created, is that most of us at the beginning do not really understand as much as we should.
Now is not the time to be frustrated, however. Again, experience has shown that we just need to dig a little deeper, go over again what is confusing, and ask questions of others. Everyone needs to understand that he or she has the necessary intelligence but has not yet had the education or experience that we should have gotten while we were growing up.
So here are a few "test" questions that should help each learner determine what isn't yet understood. For your own benefit don't cheat–the basic answers are provided. If you can answer 50% of the questions you are probably on the right track and should feel good that you have a basic understanding the majority of Americans do not have. If you can answer 75% you are exceptional.
